Employees and trade union members have blocked access to Cora‘s distribution centre in Heppignies, near Charleroi, as a result of new rumours have been circulating that all seven Belgian hypermarkets are being sold.

The rumours about a sale of all seven Belgian hypermarkets have spread like wildfire among Cora employees, RTL Info reports. Together with the distribution centre, they still represent 2,000 jobs – despite a number of waves of redundancies in the recent past.
