Cultured meat producer Meatable throws in the towel

Dutch cultured meat company Meatable is ceasing its activities. The start-up has been unable to attract additional funding.

Investors not interested

Attempts to raise new capital from existing or new investors came to nothing this year, British investor Agronomics has announced to the FD. Agronomics is one of Meatable’s largest shareholders, along with DSM Venturing and Invest NL.
