Xandres is growing in the Netherlands and expanding into Germany

Xandres attributes its revenue growth in the past fiscal year primarily to strong momentum in the Netherlands. Now, the Belgian fashion company is shifting its focus to Germany. Its ambition remains to grow into a strong European brand.

Higher profitability

In the split fiscal year 2025–2026, Xandres achieved revenue growth of 1.2% to 36.6 million euros. This is primarily due to strong growth of as much as 27% in the Netherlands: the retailer opened its own stores in Maastricht and Laren, and plans to open another store in Haarlem at the end of October—its fifth in the country. Furthermore, the brand is continuing to expand its partnerships with premium multi-brand boutiques and investing in brand awareness.

EBITDA came in at 1.6 million euros, a 14% increase, attributable to a structurally improved margin and tighter management of the company. This higher profitability creates room for further investments outside Belgium: following the acceleration in the Netherlands, the focus is now shifting to Germany. Xandres aims to establish a presence there starting in the spring of 2027 through select premium multi-brand boutiques. A new brand campaign is designed to support the launch. CEO Willem Wijnen leaves little doubt about the company’s goals: “Our ambition is clear: to further develop Xandres from a strong Belgian brand into a strong European brand.”
