In the third quarter, Adidas posted both its highest-ever revenue and its highest-ever operating profit. The sporting goods manufacturer is raising its profit forecast for 2026 by 200 million euros, partly thanks to a substantial refund of U.S. import duties.

Higher margins, fewer discounts

Adidas saw revenue rise 9% in the third quarter to a record 7.25 billion euros. Excluding currency effects, growth was 7%. Operating profit surged 37% to 1.01 billion euros, also a quarterly record. The gross margin improved by 2.5 percentage points to 54.3%.
