Fnac Darty is looking for growth outside the traditional retail model: the future is for services, subscriptions, retail media and business-to-business activities, with circularity as a common thread.
New strategic plan
By 2030, the Fnac Darty group wants to reach the 4 million services subscribers mark in Europe, which is more than double the 1.9 million subscribers the group had in February this year. It is one of the big ambitions set out by the retailer in its new “Beyond everyday” strategic plan. Indeed, after the recent integration of Italian electronics retailer Unieuro, Fnac Darty feels ready for a new growth story, in which the classic retail model is increasingly giving way to a service model.
