MediaMarkt parent company, Ceconomy, thrives on e-commerce and air conditioning

Ceconomy boosted its profits by more than a fifth over the past nine months. In addition to strong demand for air conditioners, its online stores, retail media, and marketplace also contributed to the growth.

The parent company of MediaMarkt and Saturn reported revenue of 18.4 billion euros for the first nine months of fiscal year 2025/26, up 5% from a year earlier. Adjusted operating profit, however, rose by as much as 22% to 342 million euros.
