The French perfume brand Adopt Parfums has opened its first store in Flanders. Following previous locations in Brussels and Wallonia, the brand has chosen the Langemunt in Ghent. More stores in Flanders are set to follow.
Affordable Fragrances
Adopt Parfums has been operating in Belgium since April 2024, following the opening of stores in Canada, Spain, Portugal, and Poland, among other countries. “After a successful launch in Brussels and Wallonia, we’re coming to Flanders,” store manager Banu Sönmez told Het Nieuwsblad. She’s clear about the Ghent location: “This is just the beginning. We definitely plan to open more stores in Flanders.”
In the store, Adopt sells perfumes for women and men in 30-, 50-, and 100-milliliter bottles. These cost 11.95 euros, 19.95 euros, and 29.95 euros, respectively. “The prices are affordable; that’s one of the brand’s cornerstones,” says Sönmez. Adopt also sells candles, fragrance sticks, body and facial care products, body mists, and hair mists.
Through a recycling program, the brand also aims to bring customers back to the store. “Customers can return empty bottles or jars and receive a 20 percent discount on their next purchase. We recycle them,” says the store manager.
