Maxi Zoo ’s 500th store in France also marks the 3,000th store for its parent company, Fressnapf, in Europe. The pet supply chain plans to open about 150 stores per year.

Operating in 15 countries

In France, Maxi Zoo is celebrating the opening of its 500th location, an urban store in Paris. At the same time, the parent company—which also operates stores under the names Fressnapf and Arcaplanet—has reached the milestone of 3,000 stores. “What began in 1990 with a single Fressnapf store in Germany has grown into a European network spanning 15 countries,” the company reports on its LinkedIn page.
