Lidl’s international operations once again posted strong revenue and profit growth in the past fiscal year. The discount retailer appears to be keeping rising costs well under control.
Despite a declining gross profit margin
In the 2025/26 fiscal year, which ended on February 28, Lidl’s international operations grew by 8.34% to revenue of 102.6 billion euros. EBIT rose from 4 to 4.4 billion, and net profit from 2.3 to 2.7 billion euros. This is according to figures just published by the Lidl Stiftung, the holding company that oversees the discount chain’s international operations and accounts for about 70% of the retailer’s total revenue, which amounts to 140.2 billion. Major countries such as Germany and France are not included in these figures.
