Spar veteran Pim Dirckx to become Scapino’s new CEO

Scapino has appointed Pim Dirckx as its new CEO. The former chief operating officer of Spar Netherlands will take over day-to-day management of the Dutch shoe and clothing chain starting September 14. A successor has thus been found barely two weeks after Adem Doymaz’s unexpected departure.

Over 13 years at Spar

The supermarket and franchise sectors are where Dirckx has mainly gained his experience. He worked at Spar Holding for over thirteen years, serving as Director of Operations for the last 6.5 years. He was also a member of the executive board of The Tosti Club and the supervisory board of Spar University. Dirckx announced in February that he would be leaving Spar effective 1 May.
