Chocolatier Galler receives protection from creditors

Belgian chocolatier Galler has been granted judicial protection from its creditors. The company has been struggling with structural losses for years, partly due to disastrous floods in 2021.

Disaster after disaster

The commercial court granted the Vaux-sous-Chèvremont-based company four months of legal protection, allowing it to work out a reorganization under the supervision of an administrator without immediate pressure from creditors. Several sources have confirmed the measure to De Tijd.
