Monoprix is making its comeback in Lebanon this week, after the French chain withdrew from the country in 2019 due to the political and economic crisis. Egypt and Morocco are also on the agenda for the Casino subsidiary next year.

The first new Monoprix store is located in the Lebanese capital Beirut, or more precisely in the suburb of Antelias, and is the first result of the franchise agreement that Casino signed with Gray McKenzie two years ago. Gray McKenzie is a local distribution specialist that operates Grab’n Go, Happy Discount Store and Spinneys in Lebanon.
