The government responded sharply: the company had 48 hours to rectify the violations, otherwise the site would be blocked. On Friday, the French Ministry of Finance announced that “no prohibited products are available for sale” and that the measures are being suspended for the time being. “In the event of a new violation, Shein will be blocked immediately,” Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu warned nonetheless.
