Costco Spain saw its sales rise 13.6 % to 618 million euros in its 2024 fiscal year, but its streak of losses continues. Meanwhile, the company is accelerating its expansion and strengthening its logistics in the country.
Profitability still a long way off
The increase in revenue was supported by the increase in members, which rose 15.3 % from 650,000 to 750,000 in the past twelve months. The commercial network nonetheless remained stable with four operating centres (Getafe, Las Rozas, Sestao and Seville): a fifth (Zaragoza) was inaugurated in September 2024, but will only be included in 2025 fiscal year.
