Decathlon opens 18 dedicated soccer shops in Spain

Decathlon is focusing on soccer with specific Pro Shops in Spain: the sports retailer opened 18 new shop-in-shops, accounting for more than 4,000 square meters of additional retail space, in regions where soccer is widely played.

After specialized shop-in-shops for cycling and running, among others, Decathlon is now shifting its attention to soccer. In Alcorcón, Granada and Tenerife, among other places, the chain has rolled out so-called Pro Shops, which focus entirely on Spain’s most popular ball sport. The shop-in-shops can be found within existing stores in regions with many active players and registered members.
