Belgian toy store chain DreamLand has an agreement with developer Mitiska for the opening of seven large stores at the sites of all the Cora hypermarkets, which will close their doors in a few months.
Solution for all seven Cora’s
In April, the then Louis Delhaize Group (now LDz) announced that all seven remaining Cora hypermarkets would close early next year. Now it has also been announced what will happen to the sites: DreamLand will open a store (of at least 2,000 sqm) in each of the seven sites. The retailer has concluded an agreement on that, CEO Koen Nolmans confirmed to RetailDetail. Four of the sites will replace existing DreamLand stores, three are completely new additions.
