A.S.Adventure to trial city centre concept

Belgian outdoor retailer A.S.Adventure is developing on a new store concept, which is tailored to the needs of city centre shoppers. The retailer’s first city centre store will open this autumn in Bruges.

Unique range of brands

The new store concept will offer a unique range of brands that are not yet widely represented in the centre of Bruges, and that are carefully tailored to the needs of both city residents and tourists, the retailer stated. It will be a mix of urban outdoor, lifestyle and travel: from raincoats and fleeces over trolleys, walking shoes and polos to practical daypacks for city adventures.

The store with a surface area of ​​350 sqm will open in a building in Bruges’ shopping street Steenstraat, in the building where River Woods was previously located. A.S.Adventure has had a spacious suburban store in Bruges since 1999, where customers can find the retailer’s full range. The new city store is a perfect addition to this, the retailer claims. “With this new location, we bring our unique mix of outdoor and lifestyle directly to the shopping street and this will undoubtedly become a new hotspot in Bruges”, CEO Bea De Beuckelaer hopes.
