New list of 21 stores puts Delhaize over halfway in franchising process

Belgian retailer Delhaize has released a new list of 21 supermarkets that will soon be transferred to independent operators. The retailer has now found a new owner for 72 of its 128 stores, meaning the operation is now over halfway.

The new list includes four shops in Antwerp (Antwerp Hopland, Deurne Bosuil, Schoten and Sint-Katelijne-Waver), four in Brussels (Charles-Quint, Chazal, Mozart and Westland), two in East Flanders (Dendermonde and Lokeren), two in Flemish Brabant (Halle and Sint-Pieters-Leeuw), five in Hainaut (Enghien, Epinois, Hornu, Mouscron and Morlanwelz), two in Liège (Liège Fragnée and Seraing Sart-Tilman), one in Namur (Jambes) and one in Walloon Brabant (Genval).
