Investment fund IK Partners has acquired Dutch snack manufacturer GoodLife Foods (known for brands such as Bicky, Beckers and Van Oers) from holding company Egeria. The companies did not disclose financial details.

Ambitious plans

GoodLife Foods is a producer of frozen snacks for retail, foodservice and industry, under a dozen brands. The Breda-based company employs over 700 people across six production sites in the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark.

CEO of GoodLife is Belgian Dirk Van de Walle. He states, “We look forward to the next chapter which will see us working with the team at IK who have vast experience in the Food sector and can support us with our ambitious plans to internationalise through organic initiatives and M&A.”

IK Partners is no stranger to the Benelux food sector: the fund sold salad manufacturer Signature Foods to UK investment firm Pamplona Capital in 2021.
