Moncler is reshuffling its leadership team: CEO Remo Ruffini will become executive chairman and continue to set the creative direction, while Bartolomeo Rongone is making the move from Bottega Veneta to take up the position of group CEO on April 1.
“Forward-looking decision”
Within the new group structure, Ruffini, who saved the brand from ruin in 2003 and gave it a new lease of life, will retain responsibility for creative direction. In a statement issued on January 20, Moncler said the changes will “enable the Group to address future challenges and opportunities in the most effective way, while continuing to support its growth and development path.”
