Online fashion retailer Asos is putting 295 million pounds (334 million euros) on the table for labels Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and HIIT from retail group Arcadia which went bankrupt.

Things are moving on the British fashion market. Online fashion platform Boohoo is taking over Debenhams but is leaving the stores for what they are. In the meantime, Asos is ogling Arcadia.
Topshop parent Arcadia has a prospective buyer: G-III Apparel, owner of Tommy Hilfiger and Guess among others, is said to be bidding for the bankrupt British fashion empire.
The British fashion chains Topshop and Topman ended their previous financial year with a loss of 505 million pounds (567,50 million euros) before tax. The group is now planning a major restructure, which will put thousands of jobs at risk.
Arcadia Group, the owner of chains like Topshop, has announced a number of stores will be closed permanently - including all of the eleven stores in the United States.
