After the failure in the Netherlands, fashion chain CoolCat has now filed for bankruptcy for its seventeen stores in Belgium as well as the local head office. That puts 163 jobs in jeopardy. The stores have already been closed.

Dutch fashion chain Coolcat, part of entrepreneur Roland Kahn’s group, has not managed to lower its losses in 2016. On the contrary: its losses grew more than 50 % compared to the year before.
Recently-published financial results for 2015 show that Dutch clothing chain Coolcat and its affiliate chain America Today had to deal with lower turnover: Coolcat revenue even slumped more than 10 %.
Bankrupted department store chain V&D has finally found a new owner and will therefore relaunch. Entrepreneur Roland Kahn, mostly known for his clothing chain Coolcat, is the chain's new owner.
