Primark opens 7 stores in United States

Irish fashion discounter Primark will rent about 50,000 sqm of store space in seven American Sears stores. The latter hopes this will improve its disappointing results from the past several years.

Seven American locations

The Sears stores are all located in the North East of the United States. Primark will be moving in within the 12 to 18 months.

In the King of Prussia Mall (Philadelphia), the deal means that Sears will actually leave and give its current location to Primark. The Irish company will occupy the first floor, while Dick's Sporting Goods already occupies the second floor.
