Makro Alleur employees on strike on Friday

The employees at the Makro in Alleur will go on strike on Friday because they find the proposed restructuring plan unacceptable, as they faces the largest number of layoffs.

There is also discord among the labour unions as some are in favour of the plan they have negotiated themselves, while others resist.
