Coca-Cola, Colgate and Maggi are the most popular FMCG brands worldwide, according to a Kantar Worldpanel report. Local brands are stealing market share however.
Kantar Worldpanel has published its top 50 of most popular global brands for the fifth time. Unilever dominates the list, but Coca-Cola still easily holds onto its first place, followed by Colgate and Lifebuoy.
The cosmetics industry is struggling with its sustainability efforts: out of thirty examined brands, 22 fail to surpass a score of 30 % according to a Rank a Brand study. Only five get more than 50 %.
