Netflix launched in Belgium

Netflix, the popular streaming service, has finally launched in Belgium, after it had also entered the French and German market earlier this week. 

50 million members


Netflix is the world's largest internet television network, with more than 50 million members in 40 countries. It offers series and movies for a fixed amount per month.


It is mostly American content, but local productions will also be added to the service. Several Belgian movies, series and comedy shows are already present and it will also collaborate with VRT.

German Otto Group continues to soar


German online company Otto Group saw its turnover grow 10.9 % to 7.76 billion euro in the past fiscal year. The former mail order company will continue to invest in start-ups and technology.

Strong growth for Chinese e-commerce once again
