Carhartt Work In Progress opening flagship store in Ghent

American fashion brand Carhartt Work In Progress has opened its first Belgian store in Ghent, which will sell both Carhartt’s men’s and women’s collections.

The store has been designed by the Italian architect Andrea Caputo, who already created several Carhartt Work In Progress stores. To celebrate the opening, anexclusive T-shirt will be designed, only for sale in Ghent.

Hamilton Carhartt founded his eponymous company in 1889 in Detroit. It took until 1997 for it to release a collection in Europe, designed by Work in Progress.
