Apple has decided to give 2 years of guarantee in Belgium after all, as its one-year guarantee was illegal, both in Belgian and European law. Consumer organisation TestAankoop managed to pressurize Apple enough to force it to give 2 years, even though TestAankoop wants more.

Saturn has opened Europe’s first checkout-free electronics store in Austria. The former Metro Group chain offers its customers traditional sales assistance, but payments have to happen using an app.
