Intergamma gains market share in Belgian and Dutch DIY market

The Belgian branch of the Gamma DIY chain, which all belongs to the Dutch construction group Intergamma, has managed to lift its market share by 0.1 % to 14.4 %. In the Netherlands, the group's market share has risen to 41.3 %.

Intergamma's stores grow

Intergamma's chains have both performed well in the past year (+ 2.3 % to 132 million euro), which is thanks to a clear brand image, the work of its franchisees, an increase in online activity and its pick-up points, according to Intergamma.

It has also expressed hope that the Dutch DIY market would once again grow in 2015, after an 8 % slump in 2013. The Belgian DIY will still lag behind in 2015, according to the company.
