Retail turnover increases slightly

Retail turnover increases slightly

Dutch retail had a good January, with a 0.8 % turnover increase. Food remains the biggest driver with a + 2.1 %, but the remarkable fact was that specialty stores grew faster than supermarkets, which is trend-buckling. Non-food remained almost level, but the performances of the other branches were a bit precarious.
