Consumer union wants Blokker to change its EULA

The Dutch union of consumers “Consumentenbond” has demanded that Blokker adapts its EULA by 1 April: if not, the organization will consider going to court to force the chain to change its regulations.

Blokker wants customers to present a receipt in order to get their guarantee, while bank statements suffice according to Dutch law. Another issue is that Blokker follows the price at the register, not the ones shown in the store: another “unreasonable” breach according to the “Consumentenbond”. Blokker had promised to alter the EULA in October 2013, but still has not done so.
